Very nice one. Great colors. Nice stuff.
2 things I think would need to be adressed on this piece:
1_ I think this illustration needs a focal point. A place where the eye will be taken first. Because as it is right now, I'm trying to look everywhere at the same time...
2_ Why is the type at the top placed at the edge of the illustration ? The way it is positoinned right now seems to be an error. I think you should give a try at giving this type more room.
Hope this helps !

I like your illustration, but I'd like to make one comment about your website: The navigation looks like it will smoothly fade into the next item when I click an arrow and I was disappointed to see this not happening. Maybe you could implement a flash version of your portfolio?

looks lovely. Very whimsical in nature. It could use a more defined focal point like mentioned above. I almost want to see the branches take a backseat by being lightened a bit and the text "giver of life" take a more darker approach to become a focal point.
Cool stuff though! What was your inspiration for the penguins and the juxtaposition of them?
