ad a dark stroke around it or change the white side of the gradient color to a other color.

Be careful when using repeating shapes. If you use them for two different purposes (i.e. to satisfy two different ideas), they may begin to look "reused" rather than repeated.

While repeating shapes can give a distinct branding direction to a company, reusing a shape in different ways makes the branding direction unclear and makes the viewer ask "why does the design need two different ideas?" and the easiest answer is "because neither is strong enough on its own". Now, that may or may not be true, but that's what will come to mind (whether it's consciously or subconsciously). This is why you should always try to stick to one main idea; let it dominate the design and provide a clear branding direction.

besides everything mentioned above, 3 different fonts is somewhat too much for one logo.

Pretty much has already been said, but I think you should have gone for more saturated colors. Also as Redrum pointed stick to one main idea and the rest of the details should support it, not confuse it up.

Hi,

And why did you put a spearmint leaf in the "A" letter? The leaf doesn't resemble that at all... strange...
thanks

The colors make it hard to read and it looks like the A isnt an A since you used the leaf instead. I would edit the leaf and make it more A like or not use it there maybe incorporate it elsewhere.

Try doing the logo in all black and see if that works then go from there with colors.

I think the leaf as the A is fine...the shape is close enough and we obviously can still read it. Is that what a spearmint leaf really looks like though? The effects you've added look nice, but the white part of the gradient is hard to read.

I agree with the comments made about the fonts. I'd stick with one font and try manipulate it more to make a unique look. Once you have a strong typographic solution you can add all fancy effects ;D

It took me a while to see what it said, not only because of the colors but the branch you used for the A, and then you use it again but at the top it is not an A... confusing.

I agree about the color AND too many fonts

Three fonts are too much. Use maybe just one spearmint. I would not use the spearmint as an A, it does not work too well unless you work somehow with its shape. Add some stronger color-not too strong and in the same palette somewhwere, since it looks too washed up. Use the gradient sparingly and make sure it does not affect legibility. Also, the three tiers look aesthetically disproportionate. You need to simplify the whole logo and
make it stand out. Try black & white first, I agree with that comment.

I would start by bringing up Candy from the bottom and creating a brand name and identity for "Rabitor's Candy" alone. This brand name or company icon would appear on the packaging in the same manner across a variety of flavors, not just Spearmint.

By doing this you would get rid of the spearmint leaves in the brand name and just use it on Spearmint. Then the Rabitor's Candy brand logo would appear the same on the next package with a new flavor name - let's say Cherry - and you could then mix in an illustration for the new flavor in the same fasion you did for Spearmint.

Hope this helps and makes sense.

I'd agree with the fonts being too much. Use 2 and lower the brightness on those colors. I'd say use more bluish greens for that fresh menthol style feel. Right now the leaves are a good color but they stand out too much and pop out .

The image is cool for the logo but I'd only place it once. I think using it as the 'a' in spearmint is perfect. The only other problem is reading it. Other than that, pretty cool for something you just made up.
