While repeating shapes can give a distinct branding direction to a company, reusing a shape in different ways makes the branding direction unclear and makes the viewer ask "why does the design need two different ideas?" and the easiest answer is "because neither is strong enough on its own". Now, that may or may not be true, but that's what will come to mind (whether it's consciously or subconsciously). This is why you should always try to stick to one main idea; let it dominate the design and provide a clear branding direction.

And why did you put a spearmint leaf in the "A" letter? The leaf doesn't resemble that at all... strange...

Try doing the logo in all black and see if that works then go from there with colors.

I agree with the comments made about the fonts. I'd stick with one font and try manipulate it more to make a unique look. Once you have a strong typographic solution you can add all fancy effects ;D

G'day Boys.
i Have nothin to make a logo of :S so i figured id have to make sumthin up
Feedback please Blokes.
I would start by bringing up Candy from the bottom and creating a brand name and identity for "Rabitor's Candy" alone. This brand name or company icon would appear on the packaging in the same manner across a variety of flavors, not just Spearmint.
By doing this you would get rid of the spearmint leaves in the brand name and just use it on Spearmint. Then the Rabitor's Candy brand logo would appear the same on the next package with a new flavor name - let's say Cherry - and you could then mix in an illustration for the new flavor in the same fasion you did for Spearmint.
Hope this helps and makes sense.
