My first attempt at vector art, I've been really inspired by all the cool stuff you guys do =P I know it's an ugly car, but I was going for realism. Any criticism greatly accepted!

Very nice....maybe try experimenting with your gradient tool, to give more of a 3D feel...try the gradient mesh tool;)

Well, for some reason I can not use the gradient mesh tool?! I don't know a the best process for creating vector art. First I used the pen to draw all the lines, then I converted it to a live paint group. Then I had some trouble, when I applied gradients I had a hard time selecting them within the live paint group. And then when I could seemingly edit them with the gradient tool, it would change the gradient for EVERYTHING, not just the one gradient I wanted it to change. Eventually I played around with object\expand.. to get the pieces to come apart to edit separately. I could use the gradient tool on them, but not the gradient mesh? Any help!?

Looks pretty good. Nice work...

I noticed one thing that was off.
The car is setup from the side angle and the fin is setup at a perspective angle.
It should be more of an ovel and sit close to the end of the trunk, rather then the swoosh shape going around the back...

Nice work though.
