The problem with screen content redrawing takes time. See here http://i.imgur.com/B2wMUVg.jpg or here http://i.imgur.com/JCsbAdQ.jpg
I'm surprised it does not discuss anywhere, and it's as if no one minds. With each new version I expect it will solve this issue. Probably it will be a major part of the code, which is not easy to change. Is it really such a big problem if, for ex. Illustator can do it? Only longtime habit will not let me change for this program. Corel is a great piece of sw, but this thing really annoys me. Can we do something about it?
Thanks for any feedback or advice of what to do
Peter

I use coreldraw X5. This kind of problem never happened to me. Are you sure you installed the correct and latest driver for your graphic card/adapter? Perhaps you can check what type of graphic card is in your system and make sure that its correct and latest driver is installed for your windows version.

Your CorelDraw seems is a 64 bit version...Did your windows a 64 bit version or 32 bit version? If your windows is 32 bit version, there might be a compatibility issue. You might consider installing a 32 bit version of Coreldraw.

p/s: 64 bit is faster than 32 bit version...but we are designing not running :)

I use CDraw since the first versions (v4-5). I always tried to have the machine in terms of performance above average. This issue affects all versions until the latest one. Sshots are for vX7_64bit with latest updates, hotfixes, the latest video card drivers on Win7 64 bit SP1. The pc is intel dual core i3 3,5ghz processor, 8 GB RAM, 250 gigabytes intel ssd hd, video Intel HD Graphics 2500 (integrated - nothing special) with NEC 26inch display. I tried it on other machines, I don't think there is a reason. CDR file is about 2MB, there is a number of objects, raster documents, transparent parts, some levels. They are mostly imported 2D DWG drawings and floor plans and views for presentation, which I used to do in Corel. I.e. rather memory intensive visual operations  to redraw. But, when I import this file into Illustrator, who manages it perfectly, without any similar mistakes in the display. On the same machine. What machine configuration do u have?

thx for your answer

Peter

One thing that you can try is to disable or reduce your graphic hardware acceleration of your windows. Sometimes it will solve display problem.

...almost same configuration, except the 64bit os.

How can I "reduce" hardware acceleration? In video card driver? Never made before, I think better can be to increase instead?

If this problem occured only on that imported DWG file, maybe your file is too complex. Welding group of objects that can be made into a single object should reduce complexity. Reducing number of nodes can also reduce complexity.
