http://www.textraw.com (http://www.syntheticstraw.com links to it as well)

Just curious what people think of my latest project I finished. I will probably be changing the "theme" slightly as I'v gotten feedback that it gives a "desert" feel, though my intentions were to make it feel like synthetic straw...

I like the fact that it is easy to navigate. Sometimes designers (meaning me, mostly) can get caught up in the look and forget the functionality. Good job.

I like, that's like lemieuxster said it's simple and good navigation, maybe one good logo can make a diference.

How well does the product do? Interesting......

I do agree with a better logo design. I like how easy it's to navigate, but I would like to see the aesthetics brought up a notch, imho.

oh believe me, I would love to redo the "Textraw" logo as well. The font is just awful. but when you work in a corporate environment and the guy who runs the division is very, very adamant about keeping the logo in that font, there is little one can do. Maybe one day I can get him to change his mind...

As for the product, it's used around our corporate building, looks pretty good. there's a steady addition of distributors being added to the site, so it must be selling? Now if you have it close up it is easy to see it is not real, but who's going to inspect your pinestraw anyway? Not harmful to the environment as far as I've been informed. Always getting testimonials about how people love it.
