It's actually just a logo i'm doing for a very small design firm. The L just stands for the owners last name, and as far as I know the 3 is just an arbitrary number. There motto is, "partnering with you, enhancing your image." I just wanted to portray a professional look with the logo. And I kind of incorporated the periodic table of elements look to it and then played with that look to make it lean to the right and look more sleek and fast.

I would say: be careful when applying any effect to an entire logo (like the slant). In many cases, the brain will tend to view such an effect as an attribute of the image rather than recognizing it as simply a design choice. For example, if someone hangs a painting crookedly, you would never think that that's what the artist was going for, but if there was a crooked shape inside the painting, then you would instinctively see it as "part of the design". On a web-based canvas, where most elements are statically displayed in either a horizontal or vertical manner, a tilted logo will definitely look out of place. Of course, there are ways to manipulate a web environment to suit the attributes of such a logo, but my point is to just to keep this in mind.

From a new designer to another.
One flaw I have found in some of my past designs is not thinking of the design as a whole. Your logo looks a bit like you had a few elements and placed them without making any real relation between them. All the logo elements should flow as a unit. That means size, proximity of elements to each other, contrast, alignment etc...
You should question each element of the logo to determine what it is intended to communicate.
Also, the color you choose should reflect the "attitude" of the company. The color you used seems a bit "old" and "bland" to me. You may want to try something more "fresh".
I look forward to seeing an updated version.
Thanks for sharing,
Adam

I personnally think this logo is just above average, you aren't breaking anything, but it's clean and looks good.
