Hello everyone,

I would really appreciate your feedback on 2 colour variations of a real estate logo I've just completed. First time submitting something here, so please be truthful yet gentle! :-)

I personally prefer no. 1. I find it stands out more.

Many thanks!

I like it, but it is way to heavy on the one side.

I think the first one is better. It just looks more like a logo with the black background.

:) I like v1 as well, I agree that it looks a little uneven....maybe play around with the building positioning????

I think if you move the building to the center it will improve your logo. Or add something else. For example few one-color buildings that smaller than main building.

Hi pukkadesigns, welcome to DC!,

I don't know anything about the project and what the client wants so please do not feel offended. The typo is OK but i must say that i am not very fond of the building. It is crowded, the windows are too many in number and the overall look does not give the feel of a quality estate firm. I am aware that you are to symbolize the "flat" concept but you have chosen a detailed way to do it, my suggestion would be adding some abstract "taste" in it.The typo use is effective yet does it really need that background? My answer would be no. Colors are also OK, but my preference would be among dark blues and reds though i do not know if the actual colors are suggested by the client.

These are all friendly sugestions. Thank you for sharing your work with us. :)

Maybe not completely in the center. You should try adding a second, smaller building, to the left and move both just a bit to the center.

i think you should increase the tracking/spacing in your font. in my opinion the building should be in the center, at least 3 times larger and have a slight distortion to it (as if looking up at it, to give it more of a 3d feel). also the shadowed side of the building should be 20% wider so its no so symmetrical.

I don't think it is off balanced. I think the text below the building is far enough out to the left to fix that problem. I like the top one better. I am not fond of the greenish color and the top logo uses less of it. Aside from that I think the design is perfect. It is simple, would look good on any medium and is professional. I think that using white for the windows on the right side of the building probably looks best but was wondering if you had tried using the green.

I would definitely add more buildings. The lone building tends to make the company look rather small and insignificant. Also I would probably add a little more detail to the buildings, the simplified look tends to make it look a little stale. Maybe try some buildings with a worms-eye perspective view to give the buildings a dynamic, grandiose look. I would love to see where you take it from here.

I agree with your post, the first one looks better. But only because green text on a black background always looks 10x better. If I were you though I would take away the green stroke on the 1st logo.

To me the logo's look a little plain, it's just missing that extra something.

Can we see your final logo? I liked the top one best. I think the only thing I would have done is change the font, or make the font white so it is easier to read. Overall it looks great, would be interesting to see what changes, if any, you made on the final (if it is complete).

I think it would be better if you put the text on one side and the building image on the other side. For example, on the left, there could be "mideastflats" and at the bottom line, you can put ".com". Finally, you place the building image on the right by aligning vertically with the text.

I hope I was clear. By the way, please share the final version of the logo with us.

I will be honest. I think the building makes your logo too heavy on its side. I think you have to try reaching another balance. The name could be also more legible, maybe if you cut of the background...
