Yesterday I was in Shenzhen for over a week working with webdevelopers. Ok the experience is most oddest because I never been to a place where people can not speak english and also don't have any English written at all only at Starbucks I could read and talk with English. Luckly I can speak and listen to Cantonese however most part of Shenzhen people talk in Mandarin or Potungua. However not really working yet because I have to settle here first and also get my HKid and maybe also a work Visa.
In China self it is pretty bad everyone is just stealing designs, the design does not look bad but also is not very original they use allot of clipart and just use photo's from the internet.
So I would be rather working in Hong Kong. I am now back in Hong Kong and am trying to organize a few meeting with other designers to talk and exchange experience and see how the design environment is in Hong Kong. Because Shenzhen is not really a good place for me.
However I found few decent designers though in China that really want to design or learn to design better and send them to register to DC.
But will also see if I could get into the Design Academy in Hong Kong so I could speak with students in the design department. At the moment I have not gave away much of my business cards yet.

Had done few interesting things this week, I had met a world famous Graffiti artist by the name SheOne. He is an abstract painter and has probably the coolest autograph. Also I had attented the Earth Hour event by going to the harbor photograph the famous Hong Kong skyline but then with all light on and off. You can see the pictures and articles about it on my blog.
