Instead of paying extra for iCloud storage you can do backups automatically to your Mac or PC using WiFi backups and iTunes. The local computer where the backups are taken should be on and connected to the same WiFi network your iPhone is connected to.
1.First you need to plug your iPhone into your Mac or PC
2.open your iTunes and click on the iPhone page.
3.Select the “Sync with this iPhone over WiFi” option.
4.To check the date of your latest WiFi backup on your iPhone go to Settings > General > iTunes WiFi Sync.
