I made everything on there, the image is just a place holder. We will be commissioning some photos with the same story and mood though.
Thanks

not bad. The white menu bar seems spaced out too much. I would much rather prefer seeing those menu items centred inward and more grouped together. Right now they don't seem "together".
I also keep getting an error message with your flash script telling me that it is slowing firefox down and needs to abort. Might want to check on that.
Overall excellent job I am sure you had to work with a set colour palette, which is never fun. Well layed out and easy to navigate.

I second that, the buttons are to spread out considering the size of the content. There is too much unused space so the design seem "loose"... Also I think some elements' styles in the design need to jive to produce the overall intended design scheme, like the main menu somehow does not jive well with the menu on top. Of course I may be rushing into judgement considering the site is still unfinished.
But overall I think the site has potential! Just need to make it "tight"

I am thankfull for all the the advice and comments. The top bar(s) aren't really under my control, as they are part of the university flag. I have tried playing around with them a bit, and I will keep trying, but I can't seem to get them to do what I want (they are generated by an external javascript file).
Oh well.
I have implemented some of your great ideas. and have come up with a few more of my own. So once again, thank for everything.
Here is a question - up until now the station indentity has been black and white (all of our posters and whatnot) What if I made this page black and white?
Comments, concerns, compliments?
