Yo!

Here are 3 little doodles i did with Illustrator within an hour and a half... It was during my breaktime at work. No references or sketches, just fooling around with Illustrator basics.
Hope y'all like it!

Hi Grphx,

Thanks for your reaction. I did not use a Wacom actually because at that time the Wacom still had to arrive after ordering it. So i had tu use my mouse. I just used Adobe Illustrator to make these. I used the basic shapes (Square, elipse) and edited them until i got what i wanted.

Oh yeah, i forgot, except for the little devil guy i actually did use a reference, it was a doodle/sketch i once made.

Your use of gradients is excellent. I'm still trying to figure them out. It's really hard. LOL

Hi Janana,

Thanks for your reply! The gradients are just simple linear and sometimes circular gradients. And also i added some blur tot them, not always.I use a base shape with a color. I copy this base shape and add a gradient, mostly a black to white one. Then i set the transparency to multiply if i want a shadow. That´s it.

A really simple technique but you should really check out the gradient mesh technique. I´m tryin´to get the hang of that as well and the results you can get wit that technique is stunning.

Again, thanks for your compliment!
