i did the the logo based on the sicilian flag and i'm also doing the restaurant interior design. the owners are some friends of mine. i previously designed another one of their restaurants. crits and comments welcome.

While I recognize the sicilian flag angle, and acknowledge you executed it nicely, personally, I have a problem with food and feet together....but that's just me.......
I think the purple on orange is not easy on the eyes. Change one or the other.

Great work so far, i have to agree on the purple and orange, very strenuous (sp?) on the eyes. Also, there is a slight tangent where the B in bar looks like it almost touches the split between the two colors and keeps pulling my eye to the problem. Great work on the logo.

One more option, maybe just move that bottom tag line up a few to get it up and off that color split?

yup i agree with the fixes. i actually noticed that the bottom wording starting with bar stayed to close, i moved it and saved it in my .ai file but i guess i forgot to update my web version. yeah the purple i need to take darker, closer to eggplant so you don't get the vibrations off the orange.

The icon, I must say is really interesting! It is truly very original and unique. Kudos on that! One thing i would change, is the colour combo. I would suggest, earth tones and generally warmer colours. But, really, awesome work so far!!
