Hello all.

I just came up with the idea to use a chat bubble in the shape of heart to make it look like this.
Posted Image

What i would like to know is, is this idea fair enough to go with the dating site?
secondly, my choice of color indicates what the logo wants to speak ?
Last - Please let me know how to improve it. :)

All feedbacks are much appreciated, please let me know.

regards
raghav

Hi Raghav,

Well..looks nice...maybe try to make the heart as a heart and to outline somehow the heart as it is in a bubble.
Other way...make the heart and then put the corner for bubble on her side...
The font does not work at all...too tech(Denmark, if i am not mistaken...or HandleGothic). Maybe try AGFA rotis, helvetica, Franklin Rounded, or Chat in a sans sheriff font and thailand written with Binnary ITC, or other stylish handwritten font...
Maybe this helps you. ;)

I like the concept a lot. I like the color, however, it is obviously feminine. You may be alienating men from using the site (too, girly). That's my opinion as a guy.

I agree with the font change. I think a "fun", "curvey", free flowing font would be great.

I like the heart icon. However, I do agree with Ulaths about making the "chat bubble" more obvious. I would keep the look of the heart how it is, but make the "stem" of the bubble more obvious.

Nice work. Thanks for posting.

I don't mind it as it is. but the heart shape seems kinda ... off balance. what's that weird thing on its 'tail'?

:)

Yep i have to agree this fact, as this was the same thing ulaths expressed, I tried out to make a chat bubble into a heart, rather i would have done reverse to get the things working much more easy to express.
Thanks for your comments much appreciated.

that's a great idea - the chat bubble heart.
it can still work. did you use a pen and paper first?

:)

No, I just made it with pen tool and using mouse of course :)...no paper work in this, because its not a deep illustration.

hmmm ok. I find it's always best to work through concepts with a pen and paper.
