Hello,

I was wondering if I could get your suggestions on my logo below.
Which one do you like the best? Is there anything I can change?

Hi Creatable, I have a few suggestions:

First, I think the logo could use a bit more color. With a name like "creatable" I just don't see it having only one.

Also, the font you've used has very uniform line structure. Again, given the name, I would probably opt for something with a bit of character; however, I don't mean "whacky", in case that's what it sounds like.

Lastly, in terms of the hand, I have two suggestions actually. 1) The fingers look slightly thicker than they should naturally be. I would consider shaving just a bit off of the sides. 2) I would probably keep the top version if you're going to use any green color. The bottom looks a bit like an unpleasant gooey substance. Alternatively, making the bottom hand more streamlined rather than bumpy may also help in that respect.

Hope you post a few updates :)

Hi Creatable,

First, as i see your intention was to put emphasis on a hand print over the name. Then...make the hand look like a real handprint. Easy to do.
The name sugests me creativity, then....color should be implied here.
The hand as a symbol is pretty overused.
In the logo the r is smaller than the rest of the letters.
You can use a more creative font, rather than Avantgarde or Futura.(think on AGGIE URW, AGFA ROTTIS, Fake Plastic, almighty :D Microgramma, Monotype Art Gallery, Zoetrope BRK are just a few ;) Take a look on the last two fonts mentioned...you'll see what i ment. :)

Hopefully it will help.

Bests,

Emi

Thank-you for your feedback. I think it might be time replace the hand.

I have put together a new idea and I was wondering if you think I should follow through with this idea or stay with the hand and try and develop that?

Now...i might think that your first one was better.
Why don't you try something more creative with that swirl. Think on
the word table: dinner table, graffic table...whatever table resemples...
swirltable...a perspective swirl...a swirled paintbrush.
I don't get that can here. ;)

If you have to choose between the 2 i would have to say to stick with the first one. The second looks to generic, no real feeling to it. True the hand is kinda overused but like the name says, be ceative with it. try stuff...

I'm not sure that I agree with the table idea. That might confuse people since the actual word "creatable" has nothing to do with tables.

Personally, at this point, I would opt for either a variation of the first symbol or a new one altogether.

to be honest i love the paint bucket logo with the colour over the first logo you showed with the hand. Maybe fiddle around and use a paint brush instead of a bucket.. but i like it alot.

(Sorry about my english) I like alot the second one, how about if the paintbucket "paints" the word creat instead of the 3 letters rea, think it would be better when reading and would be less confusing. Think it could be more interesting to if you use both, the hand and paintbucket, that my opinion.

I really like the paint pucket one and prefer it over the first "hand" one as well. I'm thinkin that if you want it to look like it's painting some of the letters maybe have it painting half of all the letters instead of just an arbitrary number of them. This would keep viewers from thinking the three letters of a different color hold some sort of significance.

Hi creatable,
I like your both ideas, to be much more precise your bucket idea is somewhat lagging as compare to your hand idea, What i want to suggest is try to play a bit with the fonts and try to tweak in the letters to give it a more meaning of "creatable", let the creativity be in the tweaking of alphabets aswell :) try it out.

hi creatable,

i prefer first idea , top picture, with ragged edges.. (cool logo btw)
maybe u should use another color and make fingers more detailed inside. but not too much..

second picture, with bucket seems to me a little boring. definitely u need to vitalize it with other colors
:)
