1. Focus of having the right background
2. When picturing birds use a long lens. Using a 400-600mm range should give enough distance from the birds so that you don’t scare them.
3. Picture from a blind to conceal yourself from the birds
4. Allow a lot of distance between the perch and the background.
5. If you are picturing water birds, try to look for a way to take pictures from ground level.
