hi guys, i just noticed some designers don't know how to design, like a fonts with no direction, wrong kerning, other don't know how to combine colors, from warm colors into cool colors. i think some designers are really not a designer. they just passed the test. really embarrassing for DC that the CH see those kid designs.

It comes with the territory of being a crowd-sourcing website. Ch's take the chance of receiving dozens of both good and not so good designs for a budget they can afford. DesignContest gives people all around the world the opportunity to make something that many others will see and use. In the best case, people who may not be as talented as others can learn from their past mistakes and continue to improve their skills... which improves the quality of work here on this website :)

One could choose to look at it as those 'kid-designers' actually are doing 'pro-designers' a favor, as it then get more obvious what a good design is.

But, as Elijah mentioned it can be rather frustrating when the contest holders somehow don't see the difference - and I think there is quite a few of them on these crowd-sourcing-design-sites..

There are many designers who are very good, which means a lot of colors and shapes .... but they have no imagination and they just copied ideas of others, what is worse the designer who designs bad but uses his idea or the designer who designs great but copying the idea of another?
