Hi
The logo is futuristic (which I feel that is your trend in design) and suitable for heavy metal band.
Clean and clear in small scale, which is - as you know- very important.
I think that unbeveled version will be much more attractive.

The triangle is stilized to represent letter A and also an island. Circle with those fins represent waves bellow which Atlantis sunk. Finally, by putting triangle/A in the middle I tried to symbolise an eye - as if seeking Atlantis and finding it rising from the depths.

I think they are going to keep it as it is. I presented them with several variants and versions of logo and this one stuck with them.
I still have fonts and cd cover to do so we will see what will come out of the whole story in the end..
