if the company wants to transmit a high tech concept, the typo you selected/ created works fine.
i'm not sure about the red. maybe, it's a very dynamic color for a steel products wholesaler.
from my point of view, maybe a color with more "visual weight" (i don't know how you call that) would work better.
but it's all up to the requierements of the client... i don't really know what do they want.
if you tell us what the client wanted, maybe we could help you a bit more.
