yeah, I think the present rendering of the logo is cool and classy at the same time. and most important it doesn't feel outdated. So I believe it is too early to change it.

Wait, guys, this is not an apple logo revamp, this is the actual logo for the "World Wide Developer Conference 2012"

I like the current apple logo. As resurepus said, it is cool and classy! And as the saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

The WWDC 2012 logo is definitely trendy and colorful, but I think it would be hard to reproduce well in all mediums. Could you imagine having to embroider that logo on hats, shirts, etc.? There would be hundreds of different color spools of thread needed! LOL!
