Once in a while administration of DesignContest launches Community Contests to allow designers have fun working for an imaginary client and London Skyline Vector File Format is one of such contests. The ultimate goal is really to showoff your skills and personal style working on a given brief.

It is important to know that in this contest you are allowed to post comments about entries by other designers! (not in regular contests though).

We love vectors and we love Olympics and we thought that it would be a great opportunity to celebrate this sports event by hosting a contest where you can experiment with the image of the Olympic City of London.

There are still a couple of days left before the contest ends and I do hope to see more creative illustrations of the London Skyline. Take some time and practice your vector skills. Even if you don't win one of the three cash prizes, the work that you produce might be a great piece for your portfolio!

I am really enjoying some of the entries in this contest. Too bad the designers don't use this rare opportunity to discuss others' entries in the contest.

It may relay on the fact that it is not allowed to do that in actual (CH) contests.
Perhaps if you tell that in the brief, and highlight that this is allowed just in this type of contest ... :-) ... maybe.

Nevertheless, I am commenting on others design ... Hopefully they don't take this for bad :)

Cheers,

IMPORTANT. The contest will be closing earlier than planned. We believe that we have received sufficient number of high quality designs and we would like to start a poll for the top designs on the forums to determine the 3 winners. If you are still working on your idea, please, submit it as soon as possible.
