Very very nice! I love them!

I am curious, how much time does it take to make an image like this, entirely type?

Nice design however the style is not unique because there are several designers doing this and mainly allot of shirt designers are picking up this trend.

I remember in school i had to do a lot of this kind of thing. Although i never took it as far as you. At first it looks like a hand pencil drawing. Nice Job

For any of you who went to Adobe MAX 2008 in SF last month, you may have noticed something like this in the showcase area of the Moscone Center lobby. There was a type design piece that when viewed from about 15 feet away it was all flourishes, etc. But as you get close to it, you realize that it is 100% text in various shades of red and black. Several thousand characters. I was very impressed with the creativity. I'm trying to find a picture of it online. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

You mean this ?
salt lake temple letterpress poster by cameron moll

It is a quite great one cause it is actually pressed. Also this has most cleanly organized and not too extreme overlaps to make dark areas which looks much better.

This is fantastic. Exactly the same concept I was addressing, but not the same one. The one at MAX was a poster for the New York Type Directors Club (I think).

By the way, I love letterpress. Such a classy look. We press as much as we can.

These are really cool! I had an assignment for class 1st year to make a picture or a face out of type. I have to say though I like yours better than the one I made.
