Your opininon about my logo

I made my final logo i think, and i would like to know your opinion about my work. What i have to say...

What i have to say about it is that degent comes from De Genere Turul, the whole logo comes from my (our) ethnic group (sekler-located in transsylvania, hungarian speaking), and the sun and the moon are sekler motives. The red and blue colors are also specific sekler/hungarian colors.

Looking back for any kind of opinion/thought/idea.

Not liking the colors plus doesn't feel it fits the logo that much. You have a sun and moon so would look more at yellow, orange , darkblue and black. A very bright color in contrast with a very dark one.

The sun rays would been better if you did less of then and thicker, because they are kinda very thin. They would disappear very fast when you look at the logo from a distance or scale it down. And the moon seem to simple compared to the sun. Also the moon have a different style compared to the sun. Maybe you should copy the blackpart and invert the color and put it in to the moon, that way they kinda have the same face and fit more together.

I agree with Chung's note above that the sun and moon seem too detailed and would get lost when scaled down. The moon also creates an awkward problem next to the "t" making it look somewhat like a "b". The colors might work better if the tones were reversed -- a brighter red on a deeper blue. It's a good start though, I like the font and I appreciate the background behind the name.

I'd be inclined to work on the black and white version for now to mess about with the sun and moon, and then concentrate on the colours. It's not far off at all now and I can see this looking good if you just fine tweak it.:)

When i used the red and blue color i was thinking about the specific colors of folk art of our nation. Beside this i'm so subjective with my logo.

So, thanx for all the feedback. With your eyes i can see from the side of design/estetichs. I hope this is much better version. :-)

Oh, and i think i like much this time also the black and white version.

Looks way better. Now small detail under the t make it the outline flow together, because under the t it looks bit messy.

Here is the final 3rd reevision.

I have to say that this is the version that i like most. Thanx for your help again for all of you.
