I had that awefull 3dmax and photoshop cube logo / icon for a while, while it wasn't even my real logo which I use for different thing. So now really getting rid of it and going to my real logo plus I updated it so it has Web2.0 gloss, shine or gradients.

Hope you guys like the looks of it.

I like your logo...I liked it in the cube too :) The reflection on the "g" looks a bit funny to me though.

I agree with casperamy. The round icon figure looks very good. Not sure if that typeface is even required...

Yeah the illustration/icon is overruling the name/text. Also was hard to get any text to fit this logo. The logo seem to be very good stand alone. Also rather use it stand alone but still people need to know what it stand for and what my design firm is called. Hope not that everyone is calling it CD instead of Chung Dha.

I like it a lot more than the old one. I think I'd like it even more if it were just in flat colour (no glass effect)

I'm digging the simple black and white version...the reflections don't seem necessary on options #1 and #3

I like the white background with reflections. Just I think CD tag doesn't need reflection or reflection should look somehow different. Dunno. ;D

It is a personal logo for myself. The first original was actually a smily with ; infront of the D section. Now it got several representation if you look carefully the smile is still in the Logo plus if you look close is also looks like a top of a key. The key is the key to succes:p.

Yeah the reflection is bit over the top. Not going to use the reflection much though. Maybe only when the CD is standalone with out dragging the name Chung Dha with it.

I like it. Very well put together and would be cleaner without the reflection. Well done though!

Reminds me of LG logo or something in that area, not sure what you tried to represent...
I don't think the reflection looks good with the "g", would make the opacity go lower also.
Any color perhaps?
Overall, a very common logo that lacks personality since the FX have been used in thousands of similar ones, 2.0 is so monotonous if you don´t add any singular detail, and this one lacks of that, maybe a different font would do the trick since its too common too.
Cheers!

Uhm I actually can't see any part that looks like LG. Only that it is round.

The CD represents allot of things just the sence if you can spot it. Turn it 90 degrees and you have a smiley. And also a keyhead for key to succes. Also not really using the reflection at,when using the full logo plus name. Only when the logo is standalone without the name.

Grayscale is my own style , doesn't need to be all rainbow colors or anything. My logo more in the region of same like Apple. The Icons or logo is more powerful than the name.

I tried to even it out by having the name big next to it. If I would have put the name under it . The Icon would be that too strong. It is a very powerful logo also easy to remember.
