To change the home page in Drupal
1. Log in to your Drupal administrator and go to the Create Content link.
2.Go to the Page link and enter the title of your page in the Title text box. Then add your page content in the Body text box.
3. From the drop down menu choose "URL path settings" and type in "home" in the text box.
4. From the next drop menu select the "Publishing Options" and check the Published option and uncheck the "Promoted to Home Page" option.
5. Go to the Administrator link and then click on Site Configuration -> Site Information.
6. find the Default home page drop-down menu and choose Home.
