.Open your Adobe Flash CS5 and drag the playhead to Frame1. Any code you need to add for the buttons have to be added in the start of the movie.
.Select the button you want to use for your Previous button.
.Go to Window→Code Snippets.
.Click in the Code Snippets panel, to expand the Timeline Nav category.
.Double-click on the “Click to Go to Previous Frame”, and then Stop code snippet.This will add a new ActionScript to your existing Actions layer. Click ok on the prompt that you get telling you that an instance name is automatically created.
.Now select the button you want to use for the Next button.
.Now double click in the Click to Go to the Next Frame and then Stop code snippet. This will add a code to your Actions layer.
.Go to File->Save.
.Go to Control->Test Movie.
