1.Open your Dreamweaver application. Go to the "Insert" menu and choose "Image." Browse to the image that you want to insert and click "OK".
2. The image will appear on your screen, click on it.
3.Click on the rectangular “hot spot” tool, located at the bottom of the Properties Inspector tool box.
4. Click and drag the mouse over any section of the image where you want to assign the hot spot.
5.Type in the URL that you want the hot spot to link to, in the "Link" field.
6. Save the page.
7. You can repeat steps 2 to 6 as many times as you want to create additional hot spots on the same image
