To add alternative text to images in Dreamweaver
1.Open the document containing the image you want to add the alternative text to
2.Select the image and place your cursor in the text box “Alt” from your properties pallet and then type in your alternative text
3.If the image is a new image, you would go to->Insert->Image->and browse to your image, and then select it and click ok. You can now type the alternative text in the window that will pop up after selecting the file. Click OK

Yes good post!

To add alt text to an image in Dreamweaver:
Insert the image into your web page by choosing Insert, Image and locating the image on your computer.
Click on the image once to select it.
In the Properties Inspector at the bottom of the page, enter the alt text in the Alt text box.
